Volgotanker fraud has cost the state 1Bln rubles - prosecutor
MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - The Samara region prosecutor's office has completed its investigation into the activities of the Volgotanker company's administration accused of fraud and money laundering.
"Investigators believe that director of the shipping company's Samara branch Vladimir Koryakov, chief accountant Lyubov Bazilskaya, security service head Yevgeny Artyukhov and director of the navigation policy department Yury Isaichev illegally received reimbursements for allegedly provided export services via the tax authorities. Their operations cost the state approximately one billion rubles," the Russian Prosecutor General's office said on its website on Tuesday.
