Carrefour to Approach from Regions

The world second retailing giant, Carrefour, is staging the Russia’s expansion. The first hypermarket of the French chain will probably open next year in Gorizont (Horizon) mall, Rostov-on-Don, and the company is said to be eyeing sites in Siberia. For Carrefour, it will be much easier to work in the regions than in the capital, the retailers speculate. St. Petersburg Governor Valentina Matvienko and Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller have chosen the project for Gazprom City’s skyscraper despite great uproar against the construction plans in Russia. Rosenergoatom to build 7 floating thermal power plants by 2015

Pak confident of getting Russian engines for fighter planes

Islamabad, Nov 23: Pakistan has expressed confidence that Russia will provide it with MiG engines, to be fitted on a fighter plane, which Islamabad is jointly manufacturing with Beijing.
