Russian businessmen look forward to joint ventures in Aqaba

Moscow, 20 (Petra)--General Director of the Russian public relations company Eskval , Valentina Velonova, on Tuesday said that Russian investors are looking forward for establishing Russian-Jordanian joint ventures in Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ). Following her recent visit to ASEZ , Velonova told Petra correspondent in Moscow that her visit made her quite convinced in the necessity to encourage Russian investors have their place in such a unique zone, in order to have an active investment presence , particularly in real estate field.
Eskval , which has several years experience in the field of public relations, has worked to ensure contacts with Jordanian partners to help organize a meeting between Russian businessmen of Zelenograd Special Economic Zone (ZSEZ) and their counterparts of ASEZ.

Such initiative has been received encouragingly by the accredited Royal Jordanian agent in Russia "Tyche for Tourism and Travel," she said. A Jordanian delegation, headed by ASEZ commissioner Nader Thahabi, is expected to visit Russia soon. During the visit, Thahabi is due to offer detailed presentation to about 200 Russian businessmen and officials on ASEZ activities and investment opportunities.

Velonova highlighted Russian interest in ASEZ to establish investment in the fields of tourism, entertainment, Russian restaurants knetwotk, water desalination, irrigation and central solar cells , among other projects. Velonova pointed out to an unprecedented idea of twinship between ASEZ and ZSEZ. Such an idea would help real expertise exchange between the two zones, she affirmed.
